Junior Project Manager / PMO Coordinator – Construction, Utilities & Industrial Projects

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated Junior Project Manager / PMO Coordinator to join our growing team and support construction, utilities, and industrial projects.

This role is a great fit for someone who already has some experience in either:

- project coordination / PMO / reporting / project controls, and wants to gain more exposure to construction and field projects, or
- construction, utilities, or industrial project coordinator or junior PM, and wants to grow into project management and PMO work.

You’ll work closely with senior project managers, field teams, contractors, engineers, and clients to help keep projects organized, moving forward, and well-coordinated.

This is a hands-on role with a mix of project coordination, reporting, PMO support, construction exposure, and client interaction. Ideal for someone looking to level up their career and grow into a Project Manager role over time.

What You’ll Be Doing

Project Coordination

- Support day-to-day coordination of construction and industrial projects
- Help track schedules, deliverables, actions, and project updates
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, field teams, engineers, and clients
- Attend meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items
- Help manage project documentation and reporting
- Support procurement tracking, material coordination, and logistics
- Assist with issue tracking, change requests, and project follow-ups
- Support field coordination activities and occasional site visits

PMO & Reporting Support

- Help maintain project trackers, dashboards, and status reports




- Support setup and improvement of PMO processes and templates
- Assist with reporting, governance, and project controls activities
- Maintain risk logs, action logs, and project documentation
- Help improve consistency and organization across multiple projects
- Support workshop planning, team coordination, and process improvements

What We’re Looking For

- 2-5 years of experience in either:
- project coordination / PMO / project controls, or
- construction, utilities, industrial, or infrastructure projects

- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Someone proactive who likes keeping things organized and moving
- Comfortable working with both office and field teams
- Robust attention to detail and follow-through
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities at the same time
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook

Nice to Have

- Experience in utilities, industrial construction, oil & gas facilities, or infrastructure projects
- Exposure to PMO, project reporting, scheduling, or governance
- Familiarity with construction coordination and contractor environments
- Experience with tools like MS Project, Procore, Primavera P6, Power BI, SharePoint, or similar platforms
- CAPM, PMP coursework, or project management training
