We focus on delivering outstanding quality and innovation to our clients.Location & CompensationFull‑time permanent Ultrasound Technologist position located in our Independent Health Facilities in North York. Competitive wages plus a $10,000 signing bonus. Pay ranges from $45.00 to $47.00 per hour.Only candidates residing in Canada with a valid CMRTO license and graduates of The Michener Institute, Fanshawe College or Mohawk College will be considered.ResponsibilitiesEnsure patient identification, safety and preparation are correct prior to a scan while maintaining patient confidentiality.Greet the patient, explain the forthcoming test, position the patient and generally prepare them for the examination.Observe the patient during the diagnostic procedure, noting any symptoms or changes in vital signs and summon medical aid when necessary.Ensure all quality‑control assessments are performed as required.Takes all reasonable precautions and works in compliance with related policies,



health and safety legislation and best practices.Follow procedures for proper equipment maintenance in accordance with department standards.Ensure equipment and instruments are performing productively and effectively.Obtain patient medical history.Operate diagnostic imaging ultrasound machines.Perform safety and sanitary procedures after each test on the equipment.Maintain adequate supplies.Qualifications & RequirementsMust be a current member of CAMRTO.Must be a graduate of The Michener Institute, Fanshawe College or Mohawk College.Ability to perform several types of general ultrasound examinations on various types of ultrasound equipment (MSK, ABDOMEN, PELVIC, TV, BREAST, THYROID & OBSTETRICS).Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with excellent patient care.Robust organizational and interpersonal skills.3–5 years of related experience.Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and training.Effective decision‑making skills and problem‑solving abilities.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.BenefitsDental careEmployee assistance programExtended health careOn‑site parkingPaid time offRelocation assistanceRRSP matchVision care#J-18808-Ljbffr
