Join the YMCA of Niagara as a Youth Action Program Staff in St. Catharines/Niagara Falls. Help foster youth growth through fun, structured recreational activities in a part-time role.
This position involves engaging youth aged 10 to 14, executing programs designed to enhance social skills and promote a healthy lifestyle. You will implement recreational activities, often at local schools after hours, ensuring a safe and welcoming atmosphere for participants. Shifts may include weekends, accommodating a flexible schedule for dedicated professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and organize recreational activities for youth
• Supervise events during Friday night programming
• Establish lasting relationships with participants




• Follow YMCA Child Protection policies at all times
• Availability for Friday nights and additional school shifts preferred
Requirements:
• Solid commitment to youth recreational leadership
• Experience in similar roles is a plus
• Enrollment or completion of related educational programs an asset
• First Aid & CPR-C certification is mandatory
• Must obtain a criminal record check for working with youth
