OverviewIn this role, you will have an impact on the company's success by ensuring the effective execution and delivery of complex engineering projects, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. At Honeywell, our Project Engineers play a critical role in developing and supporting our products and ensuring they meet customer requirements. You will report directly to one of our Senior Engineering Managers and you will work out of our Cambridge, ON location on a hybrid work schedule.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage complex engineering projects from initiation to completionProvide technical guidance and support to project team membersDefine project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholdersDevelop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocationCoordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project successMonitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standardsIdentify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project deliveryPrepare and present project status reports to stakeholdersThe Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP and CSP clearance.QualificationsYOU MUST HAVEBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering, science, technology, or mathematics1 year of experience in project management activities for projects involving the development of software & electronic products4 years of experience developing software & electronic products, preferably for the space/aerospace industry and in the area of optics, RF,



and/or roboticsExperience in risk management and problem-solvingExperience with project management tools and methodologiesWillingness to dig into the technical details, learn whatever is needed to be successful, and take ownership and demonstrate accountability for the programs/projects under your controlWE VALUEA technical engineering background in the space, aerospace, or defense industryExperience/knowledge of optics, optical electronics, optical assemblies, etc.Experience with NPI (Recent Product Introduction)Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to motivate cross-functional teamsAttention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectivelyAdaptability and flexibility to manage changing project requirementsPassion for innovation and continuous learningProven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budgetStrong project management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentSalary : The annual base salary range for this position is $94,400 to $125,800 in Cambridge, ON.
