Reporting to the Director of Culinary Services, you will assist in preparing and serving meals while promoting a positive dining atmosphere. Key responsibilities include meal service, kitchen cleanliness, and training current dietary staff. Possess strong customer service skills and a Food Handler's Certificate to succeed in this vital position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve meals to residents and guests courteously
• Set up dining tables and deliver tray service
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas
• Assist in special occasions and catering events
• Participate in orientation for new dietary employees
Requirements:
• Food Handler's Certificate required
• Experience in food service and with seniors preferred
• Must enroll in Food Service Training Program
• Physically able to lift and stand for shifts
• Vulnerable Sector Check required
