Embarking on an exciting current chapter in our growth story, we are looking for talented individuals who can help both Visier and our customers grow, evolve and win!Reporting to the Director, Accounting, you'll be responsible for the entire order to cash cycle, while ensuring revenue recognition is aligned with US GAAP and term of sales contracts. This role is suited to a natural problem solver, unafraid of a challenge, and motivated to improve and progress existing processes.This is a Vancouver-based hybrid role where you will join the rest of our finance team in the office Tues - Thurs, with the flexibility to work from home on Mon & Fri. We are conveniently located in Yaletown, near the Expo and Canada Skytrain.What you'll be doing...Prepare sales orders, invoices, and other correspondence with customersCollaborate with the sales team to address relevant customer billing requirements and inquiriesRecord and reconcile customer payments in the ERP systemManage communication with customers to facilitate payments for outstanding invoices (rarely have long outstanding invoices)Build and maintain strong working relationships with the sales team and external customersManage and improve efficiency of the existing order to cash processDetermine proper revenue recognition as per sales contracts and US GAAPPrepare monthly journal entries relating to revenuePrepare monthly account reconciliationsPrepare sales tax filings as requiredAssisting with system improvements and procedure developmentMay be asked to perform other duties as requiredWhat you'll bring to the table...Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline strongly preferredAt least 2 year of relevant experience, with an emphasis on revenue recognition within a SaaS environmentKnowledge of revenue recognition accounting standards as per US GAAPIntermediate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with Netsuite and Salesforce preferredKnowledge of US sales tax will be considered a definite assetMost importantly, you share our values...You roll up your sleevesYou make it easyYou are proudYou never stop learningYou play to winThe base pay range for this position Vancouver, BC is $47k - $65k + bonusThe compensation offered will be determined by factors such as relevant qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills.
