This role combines hands-on coaching with on-the-floor leadership, ensuring spaces are properly set up, programs are well-run, and all safety standards are maintained. and communityRoles & ResponsibilitiesGeneral ResponsibilitiesEnsure equipment is secure and appropriate for participant age and skill level (training provided)Find solutions to problems as they arise or reach out for helpEncourage and support athletes, ensuring everyone is having funProvide exceptional customer service to parents and participantsEnsure that all athletes in your group are engaged, regardless of fitness level or prior ninja experienceDemonstrate the Fitset Ninja Mission & Values, like Growth Mindset and Customer FocusProvide feedback to the organization on opportunities for improvement and growth in our programmingCommunicate facility rules, safety protocols and the plan for the day to participants in a large group formatPromote Fitset programming to participants and parents, guardians and school staffProvide transparent instructions/demonstrations on how to use equipment safelyWeekend Programs CoachBirthday Parties: prepare party rooms, track attendance, guide guests through gym activities in a fun, interactive, and organized way while prioritizing safety, and keep the schedule on timeOpen Gym: prepare and maintain engaging, safe, and organized obstacles; tidy unused equipment; provide tips and activity guidance; interact with guests; and ensure safety protocols are followed, including adult supervision for athletes under 12Race Nights: Set up and supervise race night programming, explain rules and format, organize heats and timing, ensure fair and safe competition, and keep athletes engaged and energized throughout the eventParents Night Out: conduct athlete check-in, facilitate warm-ups, explain rules and safety, guide athletes through obstacles or competition-style courses, and create a fun, inclusive,



and well-organized experience while ensuring safety and engagement throughout the eventSupervisory DutiesMain support for all weekend staffDirectly supervise the Weekend Operations CoachesFind last minute staff coverage if required or rework the schedule wherever necessaryFill in on weekend roles if a role is left unfilled due to breaks or otherwiseFacilitate and lead an informative and energetic weekend prep meeting on days that the Weekend Operations Lead is unavailableEnsure staff are in their designated roles at all times and fulfilling the responsibilities within that roleEnsure that weekend operations coaches are aware of and following all company policies and proceduresEnsures weekend supplies are fully stocked and communicate to Facility Lead regarding any supply needs on the weekend (ie. party supplies)Support the development and implementation of the weekly cashout process and ensure all removed cash is secureResponsible for supervising all evening events including Parent’s Night Out and Race NightsEnsure all closing duties and lock up requirements are completed on a daily basisImplements Deep Clean process during slow weekend hoursConduct constant safety scans/checks of the obstacles and stationsQualificationsCustomer service leadership experiencePrior experience working with children & youthAbility to work weekends on a consistent and recurring basisValid Standard First Aid / CPR-C required within three months of hire dateCompleted and cleared Police Record check with Vulnerable Sector Search completed prior to start dateCompletion of Secure Sport certificateCompensation & RewardsCompetitive wageAwesome employment perksHealth Spending Account after three months of employmentCareer development and opportunity for advancementPay: $18.00-$20.00 per hourWorking HoursSaturdays and Sundays weekly12-16 hours per week with occasional overtimeBenefitsCasual dressExtended health careOn-site parkingApplication question(s)Tell us about your experience in sports, coaching, and/or leading activities with kids.We value a growth mindset at Fitset Ninja — always learning, improving, and trying new things.
