In this essential leadership position, you will lead Te Akura projects that reflect the values of Waikato-Tainui. As you design and oversee programs, you'll engage with marae, internal teams, and community partners to ensure successful outcomes. Your day-to-day tasks will involve facilitating workshops, managing project evaluations, and maintaining solid relationships with stakeholders, all of which support iwi development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead program design and oversight for cultural initiatives
• Coordinate with tribal members and internal teams for effective delivery
• Facilitate and engage in hui and workshops
• Monitor evaluations and deliver feedback for improvements
• Support the growth and wellbeing of involved kaimahi
Requirements:
• Demonstrated leadership and project management experience
• Strong skills in stakeholder engagement with community groups
• Confidence in facilitating discussions and presentations
• Understanding of Waikato-Tainui kaupapa and tikanga
• Relevant formal qualification in Māori development or related fields
