PositionSummary

TheRoom Attendant plays a vital role in creating an exceptional guest experienceby ensuring guest rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, andwell-maintained. Working closely with the Executive Housekeeper andHousekeeping team, this position upholds Dakota Dunes Resort's standards ofcleanliness, safety, and hospitality while responding to guest needs in aprofessional and timely manner.

KeyResponsibilities

- Clean, sanitize,and prepare guest rooms, bathrooms, public areas, and corridors toestablished hotel standards.
- Complete roomassignments efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness,presentation, and attention to detail.
- Perform eveningservice (turndown service) as scheduled.
- Respond promptlyand courteously to guest requests, ensuring exceptional customer serviceand guest satisfaction.
- Inspect rooms toensure furniture, fixtures, linens, amenities, and equipment are properlyplaced and in excellent condition.
- Report maintenancedeficiencies, safety hazards, and repair needs promptly to the appropriatedepartment.
- Maintainhousekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas in a clean, organized,and safe condition.
- Safely use, store,and handle cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance withmanufacturer instructions and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS/SDS).
- Follow hotelprocedures for securing guest rooms, handling room keys, and protectingguest privacy.
- Properly documentand process lost and found items in accordance with hotel policies.
- Communicateeffectively with Guest Services, Maintenance, and other departmentsregarding room status, guest requests, and operational needs.
- Complete openingand closing duties, reports, and assigned documentation accurately.




- Support hotelsecurity by reporting suspicious activities, safety concerns, or unusualincidents.
- Participate inemergency response procedures and follow all health and safety policies.
- Foster a positiveteam environment by working collaboratively with colleagues whiledemonstrating professionalism, respect, and integrity.
- Ensure compliancewith all housekeeping policies, procedures, quality standards, and resortbrand expectations.
- Perform additionalduties as assigned to support hotel operations.

Qualifications

- High school diplomaor equivalent is considered an asset.
- Previoushousekeeping or hotel cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong commitmentto delivering exceptional guest service.
- Excellent attentionto detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Strongorganizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritizetasks in a rapid-paced environment.
- Effectivecommunication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to workindependently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibleavailability to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime asrequired.
- Basic mathematicalskills for counting inventory and supplies.

PhysicalRequirements

- Frequently lift,carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.; occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
- Stand, walk, bend,kneel, crouch, reach, and twist for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Frequently usestairs while servicing guest floors.
- Push and maneuverhousekeeping carts and equipment throughout the property.
- Work indoors andoccasionally outdoors in varying seasonal weather conditions.
- Ability to safelywork with cleaning chemicals and disinfectants while following all safetyprocedures.
