As a Team Member, you will play a vital part in daily operations, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. Your responsibilities will include grading non-ferrous and ferrous scrap metal, maintaining cleanliness in the sorting areas, and assisting customers efficiently. A proactive approach and the ability to work safely are essential in this hands-on position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort various types of scrap metal for recycling
• Grade incoming material accurately and efficiently
• Use two-way radios to communicate effectively
• Build relationships with customers visiting the yard
• Work outside in various weather conditions
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 months of experience in an industrial setting
• 1 year of industrial experience is an asset
