- Provide accounting and analytical support to the accounting department
- Provide reporting for profitability and cost analysis
- Support budget preparation and performance measurement
- Administer the catalog of cost centers
- Type accurately and prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
- Prepare orders, general ledger postings and statements
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
- Enter key data of financial transactions into the database daily
- Inform management and compile reports and summaries on activity areas
- Work in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
- Analyze information and prepare deliverables such as reports and processes
- Develop specific projects within the Accounting department
- Develop and manage Key Performance Indicators to monitor and measure area results
- Maintain regular contact with other company areas and interact across different hierarchical levels
Requirements
- 1-5 years relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
- Competency in MS Office, including Excel, Access and Power BI
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers
- Experience using SAP modules FI/CO is a plus
- Master's degree or relevant certification is an asset
