Relocation assistance available.ResponsibilitiesRead blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.Install, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces and generators according to layout plans using hand and power tools.Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls.Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.Operate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery.Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery.Construct foundations for machinery or direct other workers to construct foundations.Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment.QualificationsCompletion of college/CEGEP/vocational or industrial mechanics (Millwright), Red Seal Endorsement experience an asset.3 or more years in a maintenance function; demonstrated experiencein hands‑on support of operations,



technical and maintenance work teams; inclusive of timespentas a millwright/industrial mechanic apprentice.Leadership of a multi‑disciplined work group during operating and turnaround situations would be considered an asset.Technical strength coupled with valuable people skills, and good planning.Basic computer skills, written and verbal communication skills.Rotating and stationary equipment maintenance experience.Foundation in Preventive and predictive maintenance systems.RPS/RCM maintenance troubleshooting techniques.Superior skills within your area of expertise.Work Site EnvironmentNoisy, Odors, Hot, Cold/refrigerated.Salary$43.55 - $44.80 per hour.Pre‑Employment RequirementsApplicants will be asked to complete a pre‑hire medical and drug and alcohol test.
