Seasonal Staff – Tuxedo Dry Cleaning and Laundry

We are looking for dependable, responsible, fast‑paced seasonal staff to support our dry cleaning and laundry operations. The role requires monitoring efficiency, maintaining equipment, and assisting with garment handling.

Key Accountabilities

- Operate dry–cleaning equipment including utility press, coat tensioner, lapel press, pant utility press, pant topper, puff iron, NT‑2, shirt utility press for boys, and general laundry machines.
- Handle and sort cleaned garments.
- Notify management of equipment breakdowns or maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Work across all production areas as required.
- Perform additional related duties and assignments as directed.

Skills & Experience

- Age 18 or older.
- Experience in a distribution center and ability to work in all areas of tuxedo production.
- Ability to read and understand picking tickets.
- Proficiency with an R/F (Radio Frequency) Scanner.
- Team‑player with independent work capability.




- Customer‑oriented and detail‑and deadline‑focused.
- Flexible to work overtime during peak season and Saturdays as needed.
- Physical strength to lift 30–50 lbs and perform repetitive lifting.
- Valuable communication, basic math and problem‑solving skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new tasks.
- Enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment.

Working Relationships

- Reports directly to Tuxedo Management.

Environment, Physical & Mental Demands

- Continuously standing, walking, sitting, reaching, balancing, stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, stretching, crouching, and crawling.
- Frequent hand use for grasping, reaching, pulling, and pushing.
- Use of ladders and/or lift equipment.
- Frequently lifting or moving up to 50 lbs or more.

Pay

Hourly rate: $17.60 (subject to market location and prevailing wage laws).
