Robust track record, good group, and a team that is very process improvement focused with solid exposure across the business and investor base.We are working with a real estate investment firm in Vaughan that is looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst to their corporate team.This role leans heavily into financial reporting for investors, supporting corporate accounting, fund-level reporting, and asset management entities. Positive opportunity for someone coming out of a large public accounting firm or relevant industry experience who wants to stay close to financial statements, investor reporting, and overall fund performance.ResponsibilitiesOwn full-cycle corporate accounting across multiple entities and investment structuresLead month-end close and support variance analysis across corporate and fund-level resultsPrepare and review financial statements in line with investor and lender expectationsSupport quarterly and annual reporting packages for investors,



including MD&A-style; commentaryHandle complex intercompany transactions, allocations, and reconciliations across entitiesWork closely with asset management to ensure accurate reporting of portfolio performanceAssist with audit processes and liaise with external auditors (Big 4 exposure preferred)Identify process gaps and help improve reporting workflows and controlsSupport ad hoc analysis tied to fund performance, returns, and key metricsQualificationsDegree in accounting, finance, or related field CPA in progress or completed3-5 years experience, ideally trained in a large public accounting firm (Big 4 or similar)Strong foundation in financial statement preparation and auditExposure to investment structures, fund reporting, or real estate is a strong assetAdvanced Excel, comfortable working with large data setsExperience with Yardi or similar systems is a plusDetail-oriented, organized, and takes ownershipAble to manage multiple priorities and communicate well with stakeholdersAdditional InformationVaughan, ON (on-site)Full benefitsStrong exposure to investors, leadership, and decision-making#J-18808-Ljbffr
