Tim Hortons in Keswick, Ontario is hiring a Food Service Supervisor to lead a team in a fast-paced food service establishment located at 24266 Woodbine Avenue, Keswick, ON L4P 3E9.

Work Setting: Food service establishment, in office customer service. The work site environment involves odours and hot conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Establish methods to meet work schedules
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Hire food service staff
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Prepare budget and cost estimates
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports
- Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
- Supervise and check assembly of trays
- Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
- Establish work schedules

Supervision:



3–4 people including food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants and food preparers, and kitchen and food service helpers.

Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, standing for extended periods.

Requirements:

- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in food service
- Personal suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player

Schedule: Evening, shift work, flexible hours, weekends. Hours: 30 to 44 per week.

Wage: $19.25 per hour.

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate; 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service; knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres; excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills; client-focused and flexible team player.
