This summer employment lasts 8-10 weeks, guiding youth aged 13-16 through the Head Start program. You will assist resource center clients with job applications, resume updates, and vital job search strategies while working in a collaborative setting that values community diversity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individual support to youth in their job search
• Manage day-to-day operations in the resource center
• Help clients with faxing, photocopying, and computer use
• Review applications for summer job seekers in Head Start
• Ensure necessary paperwork for youth participants is complete
Requirements:
• Must pass Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Checks
• Current First Aid and CPR certification required
• Age requirement: 15-30 years for eligibility
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to fostering diversity in the community
