Monday – Friday, 9:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m., during the school year

REPORTS TO

Director of Food Service

COORDINATES WITH

GRCMS Kitchen Lead

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the kitchen lead at GRCMS, this Food Service staff member will assist in preparing meals according to the school menu, serve meals to the students and staff at GRCMS, and assist in cleaning the serving areas and food prep areas.

Major Responsibilities

- Provide friendly, professional service to students, staff, and visitors
- Assist in setting up and cleaning up serving and food prep areas
- Help to maintain accurate production records of meal components served
- Prepare food in a safe and sanitary manner, following all accepted health department regulations
- Follow accepted practices to avoid cross-contamination when preparing meals for customers with allergies,



dietary restrictions, or special accommodations
- Complete annual trainings as assigned

Requirements

- Demonstrate Christian character in all aspects of the job
- Display and maintain satisfactory work attendance
- Display and maintain minimum absenteeism
- Work well with others as a member of a team
- Able to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
- Able to lift and carry loads up to 40 pounds for short distances
- Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks
- Solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
