At Clearpoint's Recent Westminster Surgical Centre, you will provide essential nursing services during the perioperative patient journey. As an RN specializing in Pre-Operative Assessment, PACU, or Phase 2 Discharge, you will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to enhance the surgical experience for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform thorough pre-operative assessments and reviews
• Oversee patients in the PACU, ensuring a safe transition
• Administer IV medications and monitor patient recovery
• Document patient information and assessment findings
• Educate patients on post-op care and discharge processes
Requirements:
• 2-3 years of acute care experience required
• Registration with the BC College of Nursing Professionals
• BCLS-HCP and ACLS certifications must be current
• Experience in PACU settings preferred
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills essential
