Position Overview

Job Types: Part-time, 20-35 hours per week
Locations: Taber, Alberta
Responsibilities
- Kitchen Organization: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen setting, including dishwashing, cleaning surfaces, and equipment.
- Sanitation: Follow proper food handling and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff to meet the demands of service and contribute to a positive and efficient kitchen atmosphere.
- Flexibility: Adapt to changes in kitchen procedures and duties as directed by the kitchen manager.
- Food Preparation Assistance: Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, such as washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
- Inventory Management: Help in keeping track of food supplies and informing the kitchen staff of low stock.
- Meal Service Support: Assist in plating and garnishing dishes, ensuring they meet presentation standards.
Requirements
- Education: No formal education required
- Experience: Culinary training or relevant experience is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented kitchen environment.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow in the culinary field.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads.
- Authorized to work in Canada
Salary : $15.00-$17.00 per hour
Schedule: day, evening, weekends
