OverviewAs a Fleet Technician at United Rentals, you will perform general refurbishment, repairs, and rental‑ready preparation on mobile storage containers, ground‑level offices, and mobile/modular offices by following standard work instructions and checklists. You will handle routine repairs, maintenance, and inspections to keep equipment in positive condition.ResponsibilitiesPerform routine repairs and refurbishment on mobile storage equipment following standard procedures and work instructions.Carry out repetitive repairs: door/lock adjustments, minor hardware replacement, basic caulking and sealing, paint touch‑ups, interior/exterior repairs, sub‑floor, tile, roof, walls, doors, windows, wheel/tire/axle replacement.Follow work instructions and checklists for all repair activities.Remove and install decals and equipment numbers.Complete assignments as documented on Work Orders within the established timeframes.Escalate non‑standard issues or complex diagnostics to other technicians or management.Complete equipment inspections and documentation using required mobile applications.Document completed work and materials used on Work Orders via mobile applications.Perform other duties as needed.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Entry‑level position with general construction, maintenance,
