We are a leading edge business that provides all of our employees with the opportunity to grow and contribute and participate in our long-term success.THE ROLEAs a key member of the Vanee Farm Centre team the Parts Technician is responsible for providing a high level of customer service in supporting of the business and parts sales market, ensuring efforts are made to support repeat business by supporting front/rear counter/order desk, and warehouse.Builds and maintains strong customer relations including greeting customers, handling inquiries, providing price quotes and selling parts.Prepares and processes necessary documentation for purchases, returns, warranty coverage and other work as required.Responds to customers in person, via telephone, or electronically in a timely and courteous manner; delivers strong serviceand salesmanship on the phone order desk and front counter parts sales.Main warehouse person in shipping product to both local and out-of-town customers utilizing appropriate shipping methods.Supports the parts needs of the shop to meet work orders by looking up and billing parts to work orders; reviews work orders foraccuracy of parts and modifies as needed.Picks stock for customers as required; receives and inputs stock using electronic systems.Produces accurate, timely and efficient documentation of all transactions within the parts team.Daily shipping & receivingHandle emergency ordersInter branch transfersQUALIFICATIONSPrevious parts experience an asset.Completion or acceptance into the Parts Technician program will be considered an asset.Functional written and verbal communication skills.Comfortable with the computer and various applications such as Office 365 and business systemsProven ability to work effectively with others.A valid Driver’s License (Class 3 an asset)Capable of Heavy LiftingForklift ExperienceWE OFFERVanee Farm Centre offers a total compensation package that includes excellent wages, training and development programs, Boot and Tool Allowance, Comprehensive Health Perks including Medical, Prescription, Dental, Health, Travel Insurance, Group Life Insurance, RRSP program and more!
