You will have institutional scale combined with a 0-to-1 mindset, backed by the resources to build transformative systems and generate and measure tangible ROI based on your contributions. You will develop LLM‑powered document intelligence, design real‑time analytics dashboards that surface portfolio insights, and create automated workflows that eliminate manual investment operations, with a focus on value‑add and business insights that guide business decisions. You will collaborate with teams across Victoria, London, and New York, combining hands‑on AI/ML engineering with deep operational expertise to deliver high‑impact solutions.The OpportunityReporting to the Manager, Private Equity Operations, the Technical Product Manager is responsible for designing, building, and deploying AI solutions that transform how BCI's Private Equity department operates. This role sits at the intersection of finance operations and applied AI engineering, combining hands‑on technical development with operational engagement. The Technical Product Manager builds production‑grade systems for document intelligence, data extraction, portfolio analytics, and workflow automation using large language models, modern data platforms, and cloud architectures.This role collaborates cross‑functionally with investment teams, value creation, Technology, and Corporate Data & Operations to identify, execute, maintain, and scale the highest‑impact automation opportunities across the PE investment lifecycle.Who You Will Work WithThe Private Equity department manages a diverse international portfolio of approximately $35 billion in global private equity investments comprising of fund, direct and co‑investments. Portfolio growth over the coming years will be driven by an increased emphasis on direct investment, strong partner relationships and actively creating value from the portfolio to deliver superior returns for our clients.Our department currently consists of ~75 professionals spanning offices located in Victoria, London and New York City, organized into six sub‑teams: Direct Investments, Fund Investments, Venture & Growth, Value Creation, Reporting & Analytics, and Operations. Our Direct Investments team can be further broken down into six sector‑focused teams that cover the Business Services, Consumer, Financial Services, Healthcare, Industrials, and Technology, Media & Communications sectors.BCI's Private Equity Operations serves as the operational backbone for the investment lifecycle—from deal execution through portfolio monitoring to exit. As the portfolio scales, Operations is transforming into a strategic capability through AI‑enabled automation, advanced analytics, and portfolio intelligence systems.What You BringBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related technical field3‑5 years of software development experience with hands‑on AI/ML implementationProven track record building and deploying AI solutions in production environments,

The base salary will consider factors such as the individual's skill set, experience, and internal equity.
