In this role, you will support residents through daily life activities and rehabilitation programs. Reporting to the Director of the Cottage/Transitional Housing Program, you will aid in medication administration and ensure engagement in home program activities. Your efforts will be pivotal in enhancing the residents' quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate daily cooking and maintenance tasks
• Assist residents with life skills training
• Administer medication responsibly
• Guide clients in accessing necessary community resources
• Document and observe client progress
Requirements:
• Diploma in Community Social Service
• Minimum of two years relevant experience
• B.C Class 5 Driver’s license required
• Ability to obtain TB and WHMIS certifications
• Effective communication skills necessary
