NOC Job Code/Title: 44100 - Home child care provider

Terms of employment: This job is for a full time position (between 30 and 40 hours per week). Flexible / Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. Job start is August 31, 2026.

Salary: Wage offered is $18.23 per hour. Future wage adjustments will be made when the region’s median wage rate for this type of work changes.

Location: ShLi… lives in Manotick, in the Ottawa region of Ontario. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood. Parks are nearby.

Duties may include:

- Help with the care of three children aged 2‑year‑old.
- Supervision of child when parents are not at home.
- Bathe, dress and feed child.
- Prepare food and change diapers as needed.
- Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts,



reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise.
- Plan, prepare and serve meals. Kitchen clean‑up is also required.
- General housework that will include doing laundry.
- Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment.

Qualifications:

- Must have completed at minimum Canadian equivalent of secondary school education.
- Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver.
- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision.
