Support academic success as an In-Person Math and Science Tutor for high school students. Help strengthen their skills in a structured environment with part-time evening hours.
You will work closely with students in Grades 9-12, focusing on subjects like algebra, chemistry, and calculus. This role involves teaching small groups and providing personalized support, helping students build confidence in their abilities. Excellent multitasking and communication skills will enhance your teaching effectiveness and foster solid student relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Educate small groups using established teaching methodologies
• Customize support in subjects such as biology and advanced functions
• Track progress with detailed notes after each lesson
• Maintain a positive and focused learning space
• Cultivate rapport with students professionally
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or in progress in math or science
• Strong grasp of high school curriculum standards
• Background in tutoring or educational coaching
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Must be available 2–3 evenings each week
