Identifies and develops metrics by working with users and stakeholders to understand data visualization and reporting requirements. Translates business results into meaningful metrics and recommendations aimed at improving performance. Analyzes business processes and problems to formulate and develop recommendations to meet customer and/or internal project requirements. May be responsible for performing financial and business performance analysis. Defines configuration specifications and business analysis requirements. May partner with leaders to assess needs and define requirements.Primary ResponsibilitiesWork with the Director of Programs to ensure that the activities of the PMO support the PMO and organization’s strategic planActively participate in process project selection activities with Director of ProgramsManage short-term initiatives and long-term projects, with an emphasis on productivity improvement activities and organizational problem solvingDevelop new processes, both within the PMO and in partnership with other business units, including Engineering, Operations, Sales,
Customer Service and FinanceRepresent the PMO on cross-functional system teams and initiativesMonitor project status and potential deviations from plans; report these to PMO staff and managementConduct analysis related to the effectiveness and performance of the PMO as a business unitWork with management to develop the strategic direction of the PMO and the organization as a wholeProvide guidance and support to business units in the execution of new and existing processesDevelop and deliver training on new and improved systemsLiaise with Information Technology to ensure support for existing PMO information systemsWork to integrate PMO information systems with existing departmental and company data sourcesLead in the development and maintenance of documentation to support the PMO business systems processesRequired CapabilitiesProven ability to apply Project Management toolsStrong written and verbal communication skills, with a particular emphasis on project stakeholder managementTalented at developing solid working relationships with staff across all business units and collaborating with diverse personality typesEffectively applies the resources at his or her disposal to ensure project successAbility to negotiate requirement priorities between stakeholders, facilitate agreement, resolve conflict and communicate all of these across the project.Proficient in MS Excel, Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Power BI and Report BuilderAdept in ERP (ERPLN) and Configuration Management (Teamcenter) software is an assetHands‑on expertise with relational databases (primarily Microsoft SQL), and data warehouse methodologies/practicesProven experience and ability to develop complex SQL queriesProficient in program management processesTeam player attitude with a high sense of urgency to respond to time‑sensitive issuesAccomplished at balancing multiple competing priorities and working effectively in a fast‑paced environmentStrong problem‑solving, organization,
