The successful candidate will work closely with data, cloud, and AI teams to deliver reliable data platforms that support critical investment and business functionsPrimary Location: New York City/ TorontoWork Model: Hybrid – 3-Days OnsiteEmployment Type: Contract – 3 MonthsRESPONSIBILITIESDesign, develop, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions on AWSBuild and manage data lakes using AWS Lake Formation, AWS Glue Data Catalog, Apache Iceberg, and Amazon AthenaImplement fine-grained data access controls including LF-Tags, row-level security, column-level security, and data filteringDevelop, optimize, and maintain data processing pipelines using Python and PySparkWrite complex and efficient SQL queries for data transformation, analysis, and validationConfigure and manage Amazon Athena Workgroups and related data access mechanismsUse Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and management following Infrastructure-as-Code best practicesCollaborate with data, cloud, and AI teams to deliver secure and reliable enterprise data solutionsApply best practices for data governance, security, scalability, performance, and maintainabilityTroubleshoot and optimize data platforms and pipelines to ensure reliability and performanceQUALIFICATIONS,
