Support vulnerable youth at WoodGreen as a Full Time Awake Overnight Youth Worker. This role focuses on creating therapeutic environments and building strong client relationships every night.
WoodGreen is seeking an Awake Overnight Youth Worker for its Withrow Program, dedicated to helping youth aged 12 to 24. This permanent, full-time position requires a strengths-based approach in addressing the mental health needs of clients. You will promote safety and inclusion while providing direct supervision and care in a live-in environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish therapeutic relationships with clients
• Assess mental health needs from a trauma-informed perspective
• Maintain client records in compliance with agency standards




• Supervise clients in the live-in program effectively
• Engage in meal preparation and property upkeep
Requirements:
• Degree/diploma in Child & Youth Work or Social Work
• Relevant experience in congregate care
• Valid First Aid/CPR and aggressive behavior management certifications
• Robust communication and administration skills
• Ontario G driver’s license is an asset
