SENIOR LEISURE TRAVEL CONSULTANT

Are you an experienced leisure travel professional who enjoys designing memorable, personalized vacations?

Our client, a well-established and locally focused travel agency, is looking for a Senior Leisure Travel Consultant to join its Arnprior office. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who loves building client relationships and creating customized vacations, cruises, tours and complex itineraries.

What you’ll be doing:

• Consulting with clients in person, by phone and online

• Designing personalized itineraries based on clients’ interests and budgets

• Booking flights, accommodations, cruises, tours and car rentals

• Preparing quotes and managing reservations, changes and cancellations

• Providing exceptional support before, during and after travel

• Staying current on destinations,



promotions and industry trends

• Developing strong relationships with clients and travel suppliers

What we’re looking for:

• Previous leisure travel experience within a travel agency or tour operator

• Strong destination and travel-product knowledge

• Experience creating customized itineraries and packaged vacations

• Proficiency with a GDS and common reservation platforms

• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills

• Robust communication, organization and attention to detail

• A travel or tourism diploma or certification is an asset
