OverviewWildBrain Studios is looking for a Senior Animator, 2D to join our team! Reporting to the Producer, you will develop 2D expression sheets and 2D animation tests for CG characters to validate their designs before 3-D assets are built. These assignments will be the first tests to explore character and animation style for the show. This role is ideal for someone who loves problem-solving and using creativity to lay the foundation for character design and performance.LocationHybrid/Flexible, Vancouver (remote options across BC, Canada, and worldwide).Responsibilities & QualificationsWhat You’ll DoConsistently complete complex and advanced assigned tasks on time with high attention to detail and minimal oversight.Understand the form in 3D and apply that knowledge to 2D work.Contribute to the development of the characters and animation style of the show.Report to the Animation Supervisors and Animation Director to create high-quality expression sheets and 2D animation tests.Collaborate with the Animation Director, Production Designer, and Director to identify and solve problems, both technically and artistically.Apply direction and guidance given to enhance work and performance.What You’ll BringPrior 2D animation experience.Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced,
