Prepare both hot and cold food items for patients, residents, visitors and staff. Serve food, clean equipment and work area, and put stock away. Lead Culinary Services Aides in day-to-day operations and actively participate in all culinary training. This position will be required to travel and provide care at all Benedictine communities within the assigned region as needed/required.
Responsibilities
- Operates, cleans, and sanitizes foodservice equipment and work area.
- Prepares food following food safety guidelines, diet restrictions and standardized recipes.
- Serves food according to portion control guides and diet restrictions.
- Promotes the Benedictine Mission and Core Values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice by bringing the Mission and Core Values into the day-to-day activities of the company.
- Performs other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Quantity food production experience
- Completion of an approved food safety sanitation course, or completion within the first 90 days of employment
Salary Range
$30.00/hr
