As an Engineer, you will work as part of a global team supported by our business and architecture partners to help us collaboratively develop and deliver industry leading technology solutions that drive lululemon’s business goals.Core responsibilitiesAs an Engineer, you will help form the core of our engineering practice at lululemon by contributing to all areas of development and operations (pre-production to production). You will be supported by a strong engineering group, and established engineering practices. You will be part of a production release team and may perform on-call support functions as needed. Having a DevOps mindset is the key to success in this role, as Engineers are commonly part of full DevOps teams that “own” all parts of software development, release pipelines, production monitoring, security and support.Take part in Agile ceremoniesPerform engineering assignments using existing procedures and best practicesConduct research to aid in product troubleshooting and optimization effortsActively monitor key metrics and report on trendsParticipate in our Engineering Community of PracticeContribute to engineering automation,



management or development of production level systemsPerform reliability monitoring and support as needed to ensure products meet guest expectationsQualificationsCompleted Bachelor’s degree or diploma (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Software Architecture preferred; candidates with substantial and relevant industry experience are also eligible3 – 5 years of engineering experienceExperience with Python or Java in building production-grade systemsUnderstanding of Kafka and experience working with Kafka in a high-scale production environment (e.G., Kafka clusters, message processing, schema management)Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, or GCPExperience in containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and KubernetesExperience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systemsSolid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.G., Git), and automated testing practicesStrong communication skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver clear, actionable solutionsMust havesAcknowledge the presence of choice in every moment and take personal responsibility for your lifePossess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovate to achieve great resultsCommunicate with honesty and kindness and create the space for others to do the sameLead with courage, knowing the possibility of greatness is bigger than the fear of failureFoster connection by putting people first and building trusting relationshipsIntegrate fun and joy as a way of being and working, aka doesn’t take yourself too seriouslyAdditional notesAuthorization to work in Canada is required for this role.Compensation and benefits packagelululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from$105,800 - $138,800annually; the base pay offered isbased on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience,



and internal equity.
