As a key member of the Water & Wastewater team, you'll perform a variety of tasks, including locating leaks, installing water services, and maintaining components like valves and hydrants. Your hands-on experience in municipal waterworks will enable you to contribute to essential service delivery for over 92,000 residents. The position includes emergency response duties and offers opportunities for additional wastewater training.
Key Responsibilities:
• Locate and repair broken water services and mains
• Install and maintain water system components




• Advise contacts on water service disruptions
• Respond to emergency calls after hours
• Supervise labourers in related maintenance tasks
Requirements:
• Grade 12 graduation with extensive waterworks experience
• Knowledge of safety precautions and hazard management
• Effective leadership skills for overseeing work
• Valid BC Driver’s License required
• Must clear a Police Information Check
