We are seeking an enthusiastic Cashier who enjoys assisting our customers. This is a rewarding opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for thrift and a commitment to excellent customer service. This position starts immediately.
The store is located at 429 Barton St East in Hamilton.
Hours: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday – 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Work schedule: 9:00 AM start, 19.5 to 26 hours per week.
Previous experience is an asset; training will be provided.
Duties
- Greet customers
- Communicate any sales
- Verify item tags, resolve pricing issues
- Process sales in register, wrap and bag purchases
- Handle cash and debit transactions
- Maintain a clean, organized checkout
- Assist with light merchandising, restocking and front‑of‑store housekeeping between rushes
- Provide basic info on donation procedures
