Zoo To You is looking for part-time Animal Handlers/Presenters for weekends from September to April, expanding to full time during the summer and March Break. This position is ideal for college or university students eager to gain hands-on experience in animal handling and public speaking. You'll ensure fun, educational experiences at various venues while presenting fascinating animal facts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle a range of live animals safely
• Start work from a location near Lindsay
• Present to groups of up to 25 people
• Travel to schools, camps, and parties within 200 km
• Follow animal handling safety protocols
Requirements:
• Valid G-class driver’s license required
• Clean driving abstract to be verified
• Must pass a vulnerable sector check
• Comfortable working with all animals
• Flexibility to work weekends
