Summary

Provide prompt and superior customer service at the retail postal outlet and maintain a neat checkout area.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service

- Provide excellent customer service and positively engage with all customers.
- Greet all customers with a warm demeanor.
- Maintain a neat and organized checkout area.
- Accurately scan or enter product data.
- Account for cash, coupons, lottery, and PC Optimum.
- Ask for the customer’s PC Optimum Card at each transaction.

Merchandising

- Ensure proper documentation of receipts and returns.
- Merchandise and maintain designated areas (e.g., facing, signing, labeling).

Loss Prevention

- Follow loss prevention standards.
- Control cash, lottery, and stamp inventory.

General

- Present a proper image according to the uniform policy and dress code guidelines.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations.




- Adhere to store policies and procedures.
- Maintain housekeeping and image standards.
- Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

- Planning, judgment and decision making skills.
- Balance teamwork and efficiency in processing customer orders.
- Organization and neatness.
- Efficiency in processing customer orders.

Experience

- Robust computer and register skills.
- Well organized with record‑keeping ability.
- Detail oriented.

Hiring Range
