Make a significant impact in client care as an Occupational Therapy Assistant with The Care Company. This full time role focuses on client mobility and safety across Central Ontario.
The Care Company is seeking a motivated OTA to join its community-based rehabilitation team. You’ll work under Registered Occupational Therapists and/or Physiotherapists to support clients of various ages. This role requires travel to homes, commitment to client independence, and a passion for rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement treatment plans under OT/PT direction
• Support clients with mobility and strength training
• Monitor client progress and document observations
• Assist with transfer training and safe mobility techniques
• Provide caregiver education and environmental safety recommendations
Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
• OTA/PTA certification from a recognized institution
• Effective communication skills in English
• Valid CPR/First Aid and WHMIS certificates
• Negative TB test within the last year
