This role develops and executes targeted hiring strategies, partners with Hiring Managers, and drives the delivery of high-quality talent while strengthening pipelines and enhancing the overall recruitment process.Key ResponsibilitiesFull-Cycle Recruitment & Strategy ExecutionDevelop and implement recruitment strategies for assigned portfolios and searches, including sourcing approaches, selection criteria, tools, and processesManage end-to-end recruitment activities across salaried, corporate, plant, and management roles to ensure timely, high-quality hires within budgetPartner with Hiring Managers to understand talent needs and provide guidance throughout the hiring processConduct interviews, coordinate background checks, prepare offers, and lead offer negotiationsManage communication between candidates, Hiring Managers, and HR to ensure a smooth onboarding transitionLeverage recruitment tools (e.G., LinkedIn, ATS)
to build and maintain strong talent pipelinesMentor peers and support the development of team members to achieve recruitment goalsRecruitment Governance & Best PracticesEnsure recruitment and selection processes align with professional standards and provincial legislationEvaluate and refine hiring practices, criteria, and procedures to drive consistency and effectivenessProvide training and support to Hiring Managers and HR partners on recruitment processes and best practicesMaintain ongoing understanding of workforce needs through stakeholder engagementTalent Pipeline & Employer BrandingSupport the development and expansion of pipeline programs, including campus, community, and industry partnershipsBuild networks through career fairs, events, and professional associationsContribute to employer branding initiatives across digital and social channelsHelp position the organization as an employer of choice to attract diverse, high-quality talentReporting & Continuous ImprovementMaintain recruitment data, including vacancy tracking, ATS updates, and pipeline activityGenerate reports and dashboards to monitor recruitment performance and identify trendsIdentify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, tools, and candidate experienceCoaching & Team SupportProvide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to peers and/or junior team membersSupport knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the Talent Acquisition teamParticipate in regular team meetings to review progress, address challenges, and align on prioritiesThe Recipe for SuccessCompletion of college diploma in Human Resources, Business, or a related fieldPrevious 5+ years experience working within a Human Resources departmentPreferred Completion of university degree in Human Resources, Business,
