The Technical Services Officer position involves leading a dedicated maintenance team and managing a diverse portfolio of assets in northern Manitoba. This role includes overseeing both financial and human resources while providing excellent technical support to internal and external stakeholders. You will play a key role in enhancing the preservation of historical sites for all visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct maintenance operations for national historic sites
• Manage annual budget and special project funds
• Coordinate asset compliance inspections and reporting




• Plan and oversee work performed by contractors and staff
• Provide technical expertise to the Manitoba Field Unit
Requirements:
• Graduate from a relevant post-secondary engineering program
• Experience in managing construction and maintenance projects
• Skilled in resource allocation and team supervision
• Knowledge of property and asset management practices
• Solid analytical and communication abilities
