The company engages in exploration, development, and mining across North America, with a strong focus on sustainability, community engagement, and Indigenous partnerships.Legal Counsel – Contract ManagementThe Legal Counsel will specialize in contract management and provide day‑to‑day legal assistance across a range of corporate, commercial, and operational matters. The role is a newly created, one‑year fixed‑term contract based at our head office in Vaughan, Ontario, with a hybrid work arrangement and minimal travel.ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including NDAs, service agreements, supply agreements, and vendor contracts.Provide practical legal guidance on routine corporate and operational matters.Conduct legal research and prepare summaries, presentations, and internal guidance materials on applicable laws, regulations, and legal risks.Assist with corporate governance activities, including maintenance of corporate records and support for board and committee materials.Support compliance initiatives and internal legal processes, including policy development and implementation.Assist with management of litigation, disputes, and regulatory matters,
