or other occurrences which result in loss or damage to property.Maintain security of buildings and grounds.Perform dispatch duties (monitor the computerized alarm system and security cameras, answer emergency phone, maintain key control, and perform telephone and radio dispatch duties).Ensure that only authorized persons are admitted to specific labs, offices, and classrooms after hours.Question suspicious persons in buildings as to their intent and purpose of being in the building.Complete occurrence reports on initial response to complaints and occurrences.Perform traffic enforcement duties as required.Prepare a duty report at the end of the shift.Secure the scene of occurrence which involves action by other agencies such as the Fire Department and Police Department.Assist training new security personnel.Perform crowd control duties as required.Assist Student Campus Patrol as needed.Other duties as assigned.What You BringHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Additional StrengthsPrevious security experience is preferred.Must be willing to engage with the diverse campus community.Completion of a security training course from a community college is an asset.#J-18808-Ljbffr
