Drive with GFL as an AZ Driver supporting our Soil Division. This role involves operating various trucks, managing routes, and ensuring safety standards in Northern Ontario.
GFL is looking for experienced AZ Drivers committed to safety and efficiency. You will primarily operate straight trucks and tractor-trailers, navigating routes in harsh winter conditions, including trips to mine sites. Cross-border travel to the U.S. is required, ensuring our service remains reliable and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate straight trucks and tractor-trailer combinations
• Complete routes North of Sault Ste. Marie, including mine site servicing
• Execute daily AZ runs to Michigan for customer delivery
• Conduct electronic logbook entries and safety inspections
• Report route hazards and implement GFL safety practices
Requirements:
• Valid AZ driver's license with clean abstract
• Minimum 5 years of commercial driving experience
• Experience with dump trucks and heavy loads
• Ability to adapt to changing project needs
• Physically fit to handle job demands
