The offered salary will be based on the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills and qualifications, as well as internal equity considerations.Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) currently has an exciting opportunity for an automotive enthusiast to support our Product Planning department. This is a full-time opportunity and will report to the Manager of Pricing Strategy.The selected candidate will study and develop proposals for all aspects of current vehicle pricing (internal/external) for Toyota and Lexus vehicles. Works closely on volume studies with Sales and Inventory Planning to link pricing to required annual vehicle sales plansCollaborates and negotiates with the manufacturer to ensure clear understanding, cooperation and requirements of requested price proposalsCoordinates with National Sales Incentive Planning for both Toyota and Lexus to develop holistic incentive plans for future models that incorporate potential pricing action with focus on optimizing incentive spendingInterface with stakeholder departments (Marketing, National Sales, SIP, Lexus etc.) for the purpose of sharing and coordinating all model price strategiesMaintain and execute FX and CEP Guideline updatesMarketplace IntelligenceMonitor and evaluate competitor pricing strategies and actions including value packages or strategic model introductionsCreation of marketplace pricing analysis to highlight key competitor product and pricing actions at model change timing and sharing of that analysis cross functionally with key stakeholder departments and other Toyota affiliates for development of any required counter strategiesWork in close collaboration with other Product Planning groups – Product Planning and Product Advocacy – to ensure alignment on vehicle strategies and goalsApply Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) approach to all new model launch pricing implemented by Toyota CanadaWhat You’ll BringUniversity Degree/College Diploma in Business, Management, or related discipline3 years of work experience related to automotive industrySolid knowledge of the Canadian automotive marketplaceExperience in making proposals to Management and building cross functional consensusSkilled in influencing,
