MITT is seeking a Certified Teacher to instruct the English 40S Comprehensive course. This position requires maintaining order, advising students, and evaluating their progress. The ideal candidate will have a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate and previous English teaching experience at the Grade 11/12 level.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach the prescribed English curriculum effectively
• Provide a supportive classroom learning workplace
• Maintain order and discipline during school activities
• Advise students on expectations and evaluate their performance
• Administer assessments as directed by the minister
Requirements:
• Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate
• Previous Grade 11/12 English teaching experience
• Experience in a blended learning environment preferred
• Familiarity with Brightspace Learning Management System preferred
• Teach in an adult learning setting preferred
