It is critical in supporting Sentia’s Network Operations Center (NOC) team and Customer delivery team by ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of internal systems, including call center management systems, infrastructure, and network services. The position is hands‑on, requiring an individual who is passionate, takes ownership, and thrives in troubleshooting and architecting solutions for clients.Core ResponsibilitiesProvide design and resource support to the Sentia Customer Service team, innovating automation solutions,
network security and working to provide our customers with an unparalleled support experience.Collaborate with the architecture team to develop new service offerings and implement processes to support them.Contribute to the upkeep and improvement of network infrastructure and services to ensure high availability and performance.Resolve complex cross‑functional technical issues in a timely manner, supporting both production and non‑production environments.Improve network solutions and related processes applicable to all networking and security functions including SASE, ZTNA, Data Centre networking, firewall and network access solutions.Coordinate services and monitoring to ensure seamless network operations and performance.Contribute to the planning and execution of security, disaster recovery, and failover strategies.Support periodic operational activities, including enterprise disaster recovery testing and continuous improvement initiatives.Perform network hardware installation tasks such as routers, switches, and other infrastructure components.Participate in the on‑call rotation, as well as complete after‑hours work as needed.Travel to customer sites for support as needed.Skills and CompetenciesSASE, Data Centre networks, Enterprise networks.Automation platforms such as Ansible and Terraform.AI toolset.ZTNA including NAC.Qualifications and ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in network and security operations, testing, development,
or integration.Current professional level designations with leading network and security organizations.Fortinet Certified Skilled certification or higher (Solution Specialist, Expert levels) is required.Demonstrated knowledge of automation platforms.Demonstrated knowledge of Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba, network and security solutions.Proven ability to support and optimize NOC environments.Experience presenting and articulating solutions to prospective customers’ IT teams.Familiarity with disaster recovery planning and execution.Experience with IT disciplines outside of networking and security is considered an asset.Benefits and PerksHealth and Dental benefits.In‑office gym for employees.Phone reimbursement plan.Flexible work hours.Start your morning off with coffee or tea along with breakfast and snacks.Quarterly team events.On‑site parking.CompensationThe budgeted annual salary range for this role is $75,000 – $110,000 CAD. Starting salary is determined by the candidate’s relevant experience and skills.
