Closing Date : June 19, 2026 at 4:00 PMFaculty of Forestry and Environmental Management: Wood Science and Technology CentreThe Wood Science and Technology Centre is a self-sustaining applied research and development centre, under the administration of the Faculty of Forestry and Environmental Management, that services the value-added wood products, wood construction, and non-timber forest bio products industries in Atlantic Canada.WHAT WE OFFERFull-time | 1 year Term | Fredericton | On Site (Hugh John Flemming Forestry Complex)Standard Work Hours : Mon - Fri | 8:15 am - 4:30 pm | 36.25 hours per weekSalary Range : $65,069- $88,681 per annumYOUR FOCUSReporting to the Director of the Wood Science and Technology Centre, this position conducts research on cutting-edge wood-based products and timber engineering.Develop in-house and contract research projects: develop research proposals as required to meet the Centres' and/or clients' research mandate, and solicit support from funding agencies for clients and the Centre's research projects.Execute research projects: develop work plans for projects, conduct research projects, ensure overall quality of technical work, and prepare and review reports.Assist to market the services of the Centre: visit mills, companies and other organizations, and represent the Centre at technical conferences, seminars,
