Position SummaryUnder the direction of Civil Superintendent the Concrete Finisher is responsible for waterproofing, grouting, finishing, cutting & coring concrete, floor pouring, stain removal and cleaning, curing concrete, floor leveling, high tolerance finishing and slab installation. This position requires knowledge of the heavy construction industry. Specifically the practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, quality control and safety associated with this industry. The Cement Finisher must be proficient at the following tasks: concrete finishing for heavy construction concrete products.Job DescriptionBuild, layout and execute forms as required, according to specifications with the ability to make calculations depending on gradesDry concrete finishing: concrete chipping and patching, grinding concrete and sack rubbing walls to receive paintApply grout mixing/mixes and possess sound knowledge of grouting materialsWaterproofing, grouting, finishing, cutting & coring concreteFloor pouring, stain removal and cleaningCuring concrete, floor leveling, finishing, high tolerance finishing and slab installationObserve and comply with all health and safety regulations and ensures any apprentices under your direction complyOperate and maintain tools and equipmentReceive and follow directionsContribute and participate in the effective use of the Quality Control SystemConstruct and/or assemble and dismantle scaffolding as requiredHandle and transport job materials to the work area as neededPerform other related duties,
