This is a brand‑new leadership role reporting directly to the Corporate Controller. You will lead a dedicated team of three corporate accountants, overseeing the full‑cycle accounting, treasury, and tax compliance for a diverse group of operating and holding entities. This role is ideal for a high‑EQ leader who enjoys a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about process improvement, mentorship, and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Oversight & ReportingManage all aspects of corporate finance responsibilities to ensure accuracy and compliance across multiple entities.Oversee full‑cycle accounting, ensuring timely financial reporting for operating companies and holding companies.Maintain a "hands‑on" approach to month‑end workbooks, including balance sheet reconciliations, P&L analysis, and forecasting.Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.Treasury, Tax & AuditSupport treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and bank account administration.Act as the primary liaison for external auditors, ensuring a smooth and efficient audit process.Coordinate with tax advisors and authorities to ensure timely completion of tax compliance (Income Tax and Sales Tax).Leadership & MentorshipLead, develop,



and mentor a team of three corporate accountants, providing consistent training and performance feedback.Foster a collaborative, high‑performance culture that encourages ingenuity and professional development.Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial workflows and reduce manual tasks.RequirementsEducation & Designation: University Degree in Accounting or Finance and a Canadian CPA Designation (Required).Experience: Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in public accounting and/or industry.Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of IFRS and accounting principles, including exposure to sales and income taxes.Systems Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills are essential. Experience with Yardi Voyager is considered a significant asset.Leadership Style: Deeply rooted emotional intelligence with a humble, collaborative approach.
