We hope to find an individual who will grow with the company and contribute to making FDB a leader in the construction industry.Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure functionality of vehicles and equipment, repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues thoroughly and in a timely mannerBuild and inspect machines as neededConduct repairs for maximum reliability and vehicle/equipment longevityInspect/diagnose faults/defects, test, dismantle, overhaul,



repair and re-assemble engines, trailers, related equipment and components in a thorough and timely mannerTroubleshoot, clean, lubricate, adjust, weld, fabricate and electrical repairs of vehicles/equipment in a thorough and timely mannerSafely and efficiently perform preventative maintenance activities, services and general maintenance/repairs of fleet vehicles, trailers, rented equipment and componentsKeep accurate records of all work and accurate records of all parts and service done on all vehicles and equipmentComplete paperwork as required, including, but not limited to, inspection sheets and all other repair/safety/maintenance formsPerform road tests and emergency road repairs as neededOther various repair and maintenance related tasks as needed and as directedKnowledge/Skill RequirementsKnowledge of heavy equipment repair and maintenanceHydraulic drill experience is preferredEffective communication: Speak, listen and write in a clear and effective mannerFully licensedBasic computer and smartphone knowledgeAble to withstand working in all elements (heat, cold, wind, rain)Heavy lifting will be frequently required#J-18808-Ljbffr
