Job Title: Senior Policy Advisor – Passenger RailRequisition ID: 81574Ministry: Transportation and Economic CorridorsLocation: Edmonton, ABHours: 36.25 hours per weekClassification: Program Services 4Salary: $3,148.20 to $4,126.82 bi-weekly ($82,168 - $107,710/year)Closing Date: June 9, 2026OverviewJoin Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors to lead the implementation of the provincial Passenger Rail Strategy and support the province's transportation network.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct research and policy analysis and provide recommendations on passenger rail legislation and regulations.Support development of key policy documents such as briefing notes, presentations, and Cabinet reports.Conduct ongoing jurisdictional scanning on passenger rail-related trends and issues.Coordinate planning and execution of engagement activities with internal and external partners.Contribute to project advancement ensuring alignment with provincial transportation priorities and ministry accountability requirements.CompetenciesBuild Cooperative Environments, Systems Thinking, Creative Problem Solving.QualificationsRequiredRelated university degree (Public Administration, Business)
